System Concepts, Installing Solaris, Software Package Administration, Maintaining initialization files, Advanced File Permissions, Process Control, Disk Configuration and Naming, Introduction to file systems, Mounting file systems, Backup and Recovery

Part - II
Solaris Network Environment, Installing Server, Solaris syslog and auditing utilities, Device administration, Introduction to Disk management and file system types, Configuring NFS/NIS, CacheFS and WebNFS, AutoFS, Naming Services Overview, Solstice AdminSuite, JumpStart - Automatic Installation, Role Based Access Control, Solaris Management Console
